The Human Body is one of God’s Greatest Creations and the Human Brain is the even more spectacular. God has given us the greatest super computer the world has ever known. It’s something that Google, Apple, IBM and Microsoft could never invent or recreate.
Your Brain has the power to change your life and change the world in positive ways if you use it the way God intended. Your Brain’s Creator (God) has given us an “Owner’s Guide” through His Word (The Bible). Here’s what He has to say…
1. Keep it Clean. Just like you need to keep viruses out of your computer, you need to keep negativity, pessimism, porn, and other junk out of your head and when it creeps in, let the power of God’s Word, refresh and renew your thinking.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2
2. Fill it with the Right Stuff. When we download a bunch of stuff we don’t need onto our computer, not only does it run slow, but it limits us in other way too. When we fill our brains with meaningless stuff, the same thing happens. If I could trade in all the movie quotes, song lyrics. and sports stats I have stored in my head, I could probably have the whole Bible Memorized and you could too.
“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. ” Psalm 119:11
3. Focus on the Positive. There is plenty of negative or fearful thoughts you could focus on, but instead, God has told us to fix on eyes on Him and on positive things. When we do that, we will have joy, peace and a healthy perspective on life.
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. ” Philippians 4:8
4. Keep Learning New Things and Thinking New Thoughts. We tend to get on autopilot with our think and we become content to think like we’ve always thought and do what we’ve always done. God is calling us to build on our past, but never to recreate our past. We should always be thinking new and creative thoughts. Don’t get stuck in a rut!

This month is gonna be so crazy with all the finals im taking as well as winter retreat preparations. But past the chaos and what not I’ve realized how much more i need God now. My relationship with him is slowly but surely getting stronger and all I gotta do is try my best and trust in him.
Lord I look to you in desperation, I open up my heart and invite you in… take me away! :)
